Configure Send-to-Kindle and Send-to-PocketBook EPUB delivery.

PocketBook Email Setup

Deliver EPUBs to your PocketBook via PocketBook Cloud's Send-to-PocketBook feature.

Before you start

  • A PocketBook device or app linked to a PocketBook Cloud account
  • Wi-Fi enabled on the device for receiving documents
  • Your device's unique Send-to-PocketBook email address
  • Approved sender: add [email protected] to the allowed senders list

Overview

  1. Link your device to PocketBook Cloud
  2. Find your device's Send-to-PocketBook email address
  3. Approve [email protected] as a sender
  4. Add the PocketBook address in Sync Fiction (Provider → Email)
  5. Send a test fiction and sync your device
1

Connect PocketBook Cloud on Your Device

On your PocketBook device:

  • Open Settings → Accounts and Synchronization → PocketBook Cloud
  • Sign in or create a PocketBook Cloud account
  • Confirm the device shows as connected

Why this matters

Send-to-PocketBook pushes documents through PocketBook Cloud. Your device must be linked to receive emails as documents.

2

Find Your Send-to-PocketBook Email Address

Each PocketBook device or app has its own delivery address:

  • Check the Send-to-PocketBook section in device settings or your PocketBook Cloud account page
  • Copy the address for the next step

EPUB is supported

Sync Fiction generates EPUB files, which PocketBook supports natively.

3

Approve Sync Fiction as a Sender

PocketBook Cloud only accepts documents from approved senders:

  1. Open your PocketBook Cloud account settings (Send-to-PocketBook → Allowed Senders)
  2. Add [email protected] to the list
  3. Save changes

Don't skip this

If the sender is not approved, the email is rejected and the EPUB won't arrive on your device.

4

Connect Your PocketBook Address in Sync Fiction

  1. Go to Provider → Connect Email
  2. Enter your Send-to-PocketBook email address
  3. Save

You should see

Your PocketBook address listed under Provider → Email with a connected status.

Multiple devices

Each device or app may have its own address. Use the one you want to receive EPUBs on.

5

Send a Fiction (Test)

  1. Open Provider → Email in Sync Fiction
  2. Click "Send" next to a fiction that has the green "EPUB ready" badge
  3. Make sure your PocketBook is online — the document should appear within a few minutes

What you'll receive

From: [email protected] Subject: Your Fiction: <Title> Attachment: <Title>.epub

Troubleshooting

Test send completes, but nothing appears on my PocketBook?

Verify PocketBook Cloud is connected and Wi-Fi is active. Try a manual sync from your device.

Approved sender missing?

Confirm [email protected] is in your PocketBook Cloud allowed senders list.

Device not linked to PocketBook Cloud?

Go to Settings → Accounts and Synchronization → PocketBook Cloud and sign in.

Wrong device receives the file?

Each PocketBook device has a unique address. Make sure you saved the correct one in Provider → Email.

Attachment too large?

Very large EPUBs may be rejected. Try a shorter fiction first.

Kindle Email Setup

Set up Sync Fiction to email EPUBs directly to your Kindle using Amazon's Send-to-Kindle feature.

Before you start

  • You must add Sync Fiction's sender address to your Amazon approved list before delivery works: [email protected]
  • Your EPUB must be generated first (Sync Fiction creates it automatically after you add a fiction)

Overview

  1. Find your Kindle Send-to-Kindle email address
  2. Add Sync Fiction's sender address to your approved senders
  3. Connect your Kindle address in Provider → Email
  4. Send a fiction to test delivery
1

Find Your Kindle Address

Locate the email address that delivers documents to your Kindle:

Multiple devices

Each Kindle device or app has its own address. Use the one for the device you want to receive EPUBs on.

2

Approve Sync Fiction as a Sender

Kindle only accepts documents from approved senders:

  1. In the same "Personal Document Settings" page, find "Approved Personal Document E-mail List"
  2. Click "Add a new approved e-mail address"

Don't skip this

If the sender address isn't approved, Kindle silently rejects the email and your EPUB won't arrive.

3

Connect Your Kindle Email in Sync Fiction

  1. Go to Provider → Connect Email
  2. Enter your Kindle Send-to-Kindle address (e.g. [email protected])
  3. Save

You should see

Your Kindle address listed under Provider → Email. Sync Fiction uses this address when you send a fiction via email.

4

Send a Fiction (Test)

  1. Go to Provider → Email
  2. Click "Send" next to a fiction that has the green "EPUB ready" badge
  3. Check your Kindle device or app after a few minutes

What you'll receive

From: [email protected] Subject: Your Fiction: <Title> Attachment: <Title>.epub

Troubleshooting

EPUB didn't arrive on my Kindle?

Confirm [email protected] is in your Amazon Approved Personal Document E-mail List. Make sure the EPUB has been generated (check for the green "EPUB ready" badge in your Library).

Attachment too large?

Kindle accepts attachments up to ~50 MB. Very long fictions may exceed this limit.

Used the wrong Kindle address?

Go to Provider → Email, update the address, and re-send.

I just added the fiction and cannot send.

Wait for EPUB generation to finish. Look for the "EPUB ready" badge in your Library.

Still not working?
